What I think of the new server location

Hi 7sr admins and leaders and regulars!

I'd like my voice heard please.

Oh yeah this is my first post on the 7sr forums, so please excuse my bad spelling and grammar.

With the current server location moved from Canada to Germany, I have seen the player count drastically decreasing. Normally there are about ~6 players, but now there are very few, in fact often none. Maybe I am confused about the timezones or it's just that my timezone sucks.

Another thing. Why Germany? There are countless of German servers, whether deathrun or not deathrun. With the server originally hosted in Canada, I hardly saw anybody with 300+ ping. Now I barely se Also good job on keeping the server cracked, always cracked, do NOT make it legit-key-only.

All in all, I request for the servers to be put back in Canada or even the US.

Thank you for the feedback and interest, but germany is in the center of the world (prob) and most of us are located in and around europe. Canada and US are just at the left end geographically..


The people of europe were getting around 170 ping (a bit decent) but u can notice what may be the situation of the people who live on the right hand side of europe, they atleast get 250 ping (which means u have to practically jump before the moving traps actually arrive!) and during the end rooms knife and sniper fights, u have to shoot by assuming where the playing is moving and in knife before the player is actually close enough u!

Keeping all this in mind and by the request of everyone, the server is now in europe (that means europeans get 50-85 ping and people of canada and middle east @170 approx, that is really good!)

About the population, slowly people will get noticed of our server soon...this always happens when we change servers and IP's. You can spread the word to get a decent population and bring back the server's popularity !

I think now, the way I explained u the ping story technically, u may have understood the reasons effectively.

you are just saying coz you have better ping in canada than Germany, well i think everybody has much better ping in Germany than Canada, and regarding the player count the server just got up yesterday, you dont expect it to get full immediately,takes time.

More people are playing in eurpia just saying
