NEED HELP BADLY ?!?!?

Hi i have my own Dr server called Vsauce|Deathrun but i have some problems

my number 1 problem is the client download settings i mean i cant afford to host my server on a website
so i just host it on my pc but when pepole try to connect they cannot download my mod and cannot download usermaps heres my client download settings

set sv_allowdownload "1"
seta sv_wwwDownload "1"
set sv_wwwBaseURL "http://192.168.1.2"
seta sv_wwwDlDisconnected "1"

192.168.1.2 is my server ip when pepole try to join it says download fail cannot get : blah blah blah u know what i mean

so please is there any advice u can tell me on how to make it so pepole can download my mod ?

192.168.1.2 is your local ip - you need to have a web server running on your PC and then redirect them to your public ip. It's a really bad idea having it running on your home connection however.

I was just about to copy and paste something I wrote on braxi forums....Then I found out it's shut down...Sigh :/

Long Story Short

Buy a FTP Or Host one using Wampserver

Dude just replace your server ip, i.e. 192.168.1.2 to "localhost"
This should work well.

FTP host is the better option. Faster/Reliable.

Ok i changed it to Localhost but still when pepole try to join it saying
Download failiure while getting

Note:my server is folder name is gcg_deathrun

And this quench is why you don't reply when you don't know what you are doing. Localhost is exactly the same as your local ip - that changes nothing. It will be trying to download the files from their own PC if that is the case. As I said - you need to change it to your IP which you can get from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - or you can set up a free FTP host as others have said at 000webhost.com.

Also - if you aren't running apache on your machine you wan't to turn sv_wwwdownload to 0 or else it will still not work.

You can purchase a fast direct for cheap, in my case my server is hosted through gtxgaming so i get a 2gb fast download direct for free. Make a support ticket to your host provider and they may give you a redirect.
